A graduate of Auburn University’s School of Journalism, eIRIS founder Beth Hermes has been writing and honing her marketing skills in the Atlanta market for more than 20 years.
Her experience includes more than six years as a Special Events and Communications Director with The March of Dimes, publicity and events coordinator for The Orchards Group, and Marketing Director with Silver Summit Development Group. In addition, she has written business and feature articles for numerous community publications, and provides freelance clients with well-written bios, website copy, marketing materials and direction for their marketing programs.
Beth works with individuals and businesses to produce professional, polished blogs, newsletter copy, press releases, web site copy, collateral materials, email text and more. She hosts writing workshops and serves as a one-on-one writing coach to help individuals improve and strengthen their written communication skills.
Recent projects have included numerous websites, individual and corporate bios, press releases, magazine articles, drip-marketing campaigns, ad copy, scripts for convention presentations, sales scripts, elevator speeches, social media profiles, blogs and more.
She is currently at work writing her fourth novel, Far From the Tree, and is actively pursuing a publishing opportunity for her 2009 novel, The Cold Side of the Pillow. Beth is also editing her novel,The Benefactor, and her pet project, North Beach, the fictionalized history of her grandmother, Constance Metcalfe, who grew up in an amusement park in Queens, NY before Prohibition.
Beth lives in Canton, Georgia with her husband, Craig, and their two children, Abigail and Benjamin.
